COTI, the fastest and lightest privacy layer in Web3, has partnered with Gitcoin to launch a $500,000 grants program to help accelerate the development of privacy solutions in the Web3 space. The initiative will take advantage of Gitcoin’s grants management tools and services to attract experienced Web3 developers and privacy-focused projects to the COTI ecosystem.
Gitcoin is well known for distributing funds to Web3 projects. In fact, it has disbursed more than $60 million across thousands of projects since 2017. By collaborating with Gitcoin, COTI now plans to gain exposure in the Web3 community and grow its privacy-focused ecosystem.
Groundbreaking Privacy Technology
The grants program will be powered by COTI’s groundbreaking Garbled Circuits privacy technology, which has proven to be over 1,000 times faster than existing alternatives. This technology opens new opportunities for developers to build fast, affordable privacy features, which is a big step forward in privacy innovation.
The CEO of COTI, Shahaf Bar-Geffen, is very excited about the partnership, especially because of Gitcoin’s expertise in Web3 grants management and the potential to attract talented developers.
COTI is the fastest confidentiality layer on Ethereum, and offers cutting-edge privacy solutions that are powered by its Garbled Circuits protocol. The network is designed to support a wide range of Web3 use cases, from confidential transactions to AI and decentralized identification.

COTI also announced the largest grants pool for privacy-focused projects in web3 history earlier this year, and the $500K Gitcoin grants program will build on top of this while still giving developers the opportunity to explore COTI’s capabilities.
More details on exactly how developers can apply for the grants will be released soon.
