San Francisco-based company Sciens Building Solutions has recently acquired Low Voltage Integrated Systems (LVIS), a company based in Vista, California. Sciens, known for its focus on fire and life safety, continues to expand its family of companies with the addition of LVIS. This acquisition further enhances Sciens’ presence in the state of California, adding to its existing locations in both Northern and Southern California.

LVIS, established in 2002 by Mike Arguijo and John Mongillo, specializes in a variety of low voltage systems including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intercom for different markets such as education, biomedical, and industrial sectors. By joining forces with Sciens, LVIS will be able to tap into the global experience and resources of Sciens’ network.
